I'm returning to the craft and business of acting after time spent raising a family and running a company.

After resuming musical theatre training eight years ago, followed by vocal technique, film & TV scene study, and guitar lessons, all of which empower my creative sensibilities, I am ready to advance my performance process as I continue my training.

I've produced and performed in a number of solo shows. Upon seeing one, a composer/lyricist of some note dubbed me "a musical Joe Pesci," with energy that fills the room and informs the table that I'm here to play and be counted on to come through for roles inside my wheelhouse, comfortable with who I am as a person and a performer. And though I can be an overbearing gangster or a sweet-talking huckster, I'm also at home as a shrewd business owner and an amorous romantic.

Recently, I sang for the associate director of a long-running Broadway musical for a principal role in her show. She said that she was passing my name along to the show's casting director and suggested that I would now be in consideration as a possible replacement. While noting that I was in "line," I recognized that it is now up to me to live long enough to secure the coveted role I've worked hard to book.

And so I shall, all the while immersing myself and enjoying the journey of being a multi-faceted artist, learning from my teachers, my colleagues, and industry representatives, and playing an active role in my continued expansion as an actor and a person.
